P.W. Singer believes that there is a revolution happening in warfare that is fundamentally changing the future of conflict. Before now, every great advance in military technology was just the introduction of a more efficient tool for one group of people to kill another group of people — a better slingshot.
But on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, we’re deploying something else entirely — robots — which removes humans from the equation altogether.
