An E-ZPass for metro
April 16, 2009
This morning, President Obama outlined his plans for the expansion of the nation’s high-speed rail system.
With any luck, we may be on our way to a future where we will be able to zip from one major metropolitan area to the next quickly and cheaply.
But that begs the question of how we will enjoy the stay in our destination city without the use of a car.
Perhaps the best idea, GOOD magazine suggests, is the creation of a universal metro card that will allow us to hop from one subway to the next without worry.
