How do you augment reality?

More and more, the way we interact with the world around us is influenced by our technology. All of us with smartphones have stopped to check our location via Google Maps. Some companies have already designed software that sends coupons via text message to individuals near a sponsoring coffee shop. But what happens as our technology becomes more location-aware and more sophisticated still?

Already SPRXmobile — a Dutch software firm — has designed an application to layer data over top the viewfinder of mobile phone so that customers are able to see important information.
